Bowling Pin

Registration: 8:30 AM

Firing Time: 9:00 AM

(June, July, and August months will start at 8:00 due to temperature)


Entry Fee: $10.00 

Format: Matches are head-to-head based upon random drawing of names. The first shooter to get all five pins ON THE GROUND wins the round. Pins knocked over must be shot off the platform and onto the ground. Ties are shot over. Each round is limited to one minute, the winner of each round moves on to the next round (double elimination). Optional time format may be used if a large number of shooters register.  

Distance: 25 feet

Pin type: Five/Six full-size bowling pins will be setup evenly across the tables.

Classes: No classes.  Stock guns (trigger work is allowed) will shoot five pins, while Open/Race style guns (comps/optic sights) will shoot six pins.

Major Calibers: .40 caliber and higher, pins are set 2’ from the back edge of the table.

Minor Calibers: less than .40 caliber, pins are set 1’ from the back edge of the table.

Magazines: Shooters can load no more than eight rounds in their first clip. Revolvers may have a second revolver located on the table.  (Magazines placed on the table or on hip)

Equipment: Any Centerfire pistol cartridge (except mag, 454 Casull, 50AE, etc.) may be used. As with any shooting activity, safety glasses and hearing protection is required for the shooter and the spectators as well.

Awards: $1 from each entry will go to the Top Shooter award.
